By accessing or using the Chitral Rides mobile application, website, or any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service along with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing the Chitral Rides platform.

Chitral Rides is a digital ride-booking platform designed to connect passengers with independent drivers for transportation services within Chitral and related service areas.

General Use

You agree to use Chitral Rides only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable local and national laws. Any unauthorized, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive use of the platform may result in account suspension, permanent termination, or legal action.

Users must not misuse the app, interfere with platform operations, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service in a way that may harm passengers, drivers, Chitral Rides, or the public.

Driver and Passenger Relationship

Chitral Rides is a digital platform that connects passengers with independent drivers. Chitral Rides does not directly provide transportation services and is not responsible for the personal actions, behavior, negligence, or misconduct of any passenger or driver.

Drivers using the Chitral Rides platform operate as independent service providers and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Chitral Rides. Passengers understand that ride services are provided by independent drivers who accept ride requests through the platform.

Driver Verification and Responsibilities

Drivers are responsible for providing accurate personal information, vehicle details, driving license information, and any required documents during registration or verification.

Drivers must maintain valid documents, follow traffic laws, drive safely, behave respectfully with passengers, and provide services professionally. Chitral Rides reserves the right to reject, suspend, or terminate any driver account if documents are false, expired, incomplete, or if the driver violates platform rules.

Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off locations, respecting drivers, paying the correct fare, and using the service lawfully.

Passengers must not harass, abuse, threaten, damage driver property, create fake bookings, or misuse the Chitral Rides platform. Any inappropriate or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

Prohibited Contact and Misuse of User Information

Drivers and passengers are strictly prohibited from using contact information obtained through Chitral Rides for any purpose outside an active or recently completed ride.

Drivers must not contact passengers for personal, commercial, promotional, or non-service-related reasons. Passengers must not misuse driver contact details for harassment, threats, or any activity unrelated to the ride.

Any unauthorized contact, misuse of personal information, solicitation, harassment, or privacy violation is a serious breach of these Terms. Chitral Rides reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate the account and may take legal action where necessary.

Conduct and Prohibited Activities

Users must not use the Chitral Rides platform for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

Promoting violence, discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior.

Using the platform for offensive, illegal, or unsafe purposes.

Creating fake rides, fake accounts, or impersonating another person.

Providing false information, fake documents, or misleading identity details.

Copying, reverse engineering, modifying, or redistributing any part of the platform without permission.

Misusing rider, driver, or company information.

Attempting to hack, damage, overload, or interfere with the platform.

Using Chitral Rides for fraud, scams, or unauthorized commercial activity.

Chitral Rides reserves the right to block, suspend, or terminate any account found in violation of these Terms.

Account Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account login details, passwords, and devices. You must notify Chitral Rides immediately if you suspect unauthorized access, account misuse, or any security breach.

Chitral Rides will not be responsible for losses, misuse, or damages resulting from a user’s failure to protect their account information.

Ride Fares, Payments, and Refund Policy

Ride fares may be calculated based on distance, route, ride type, availability, location, or other pricing factors shown in the app.

All payments made through the Chitral Rides platform, including ride fares, wallet payments, service charges, or other applicable fees, are final and non-refundable unless required by law or approved by Chitral Rides after review.

Once a ride or transaction is completed, it may not be reversed except in cases of clear error, fraud investigation, or platform-approved dispute resolution.

Any fraudulent, unauthorized, or suspicious payment activity may result in account suspension, permanent termination, and possible legal action.

Promotions, Free Balance, Discounts, and Coupons

Chitral Rides may offer promotional credits, free balance, discounts, referral rewards, or coupons from time to time. These offers are provided at the sole discretion of Chitral Rides and may be changed, limited, suspended, or ended without prior notice.

Promotional credits, coupons, or free balance may not be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash, or misused. If Chitral Rides finds misuse, fraud, fake accounts, or abuse of promotions, the promotional balance may be removed and the account may be suspended or terminated.

Cancellations and No-Shows

Passengers and drivers are expected to respect accepted ride requests. Repeated cancellations, fake bookings, delays, or no-shows may affect account status and may result in warnings, restrictions, suspension, or termination.

Chitral Rides may apply cancellation rules or charges where necessary to maintain service quality and fairness for both passengers and drivers.

Safety and Service Quality

Chitral Rides aims to provide a safe and reliable platform for passengers and drivers. However, users are responsible for their own conduct, safety awareness, and compliance with applicable laws.

Users should report unsafe behavior, harassment, fraud, accidents, disputes, or suspicious activity to Chitral Rides support as soon as possible.

Chitral Rides may review ride history, user reports, location data, or account activity when investigating safety concerns, complaints, or platform misuse.

Service Disclaimer

Chitral Rides aims to provide a reliable and smooth experience but does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation of the platform.

The service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind. Chitral Rides shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, including delays, cancellations, accidents, user misconduct, technical issues, or service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

Chitral Rides is not responsible for the personal actions, behavior, negligence, criminal activity, or misconduct of passengers or drivers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chitral Rides shall not be liable for losses, damages, injuries, disputes, delays, payment issues, or claims arising from interactions between passengers and drivers, except where liability is required by applicable law.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, app designs, text, graphics, software, features, and content on the Chitral Rides platform are the property of Chitral Rides or its authorized owners.

Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or use any part of the platform without prior written permission from Chitral Rides.

Termination

Chitral Rides reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any user or driver account that violates these Terms, provides false information, misuses the platform, engages in fraud, harms other users, or acts in a manner that may damage the reputation, safety, or operation of Chitral Rides.

Termination may occur with or without prior notice depending on the seriousness of the violation.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes, claims, or legal matters related to these Terms or the use of Chitral Rides shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pakistan.

Amendments

Chitral Rides may update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Chitral Rides website, mobile application, or other official channels.

Continued use of the Chitral Rides platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms of Service.
